Job Title:   Systems and Infrastructure Engineer II About the Team: Building the right technology foundation for Infrastructure & Platforms is vital to success at the scale of Walmart. Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization, including data platforms, enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores, digital channels, and distribution centers. What You’ll Do:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot server hardware at Stores and Distribution Centers.
  • Provide operating system and hypervisor solutions across the environment.
  • Develop new automation and procedural improvements.
  • Work across multiple levels of engineering systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field of infrastructure and platforms.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Familiarity with customer intake ticketing services (e.g. ServiceNow).
  • Independent motivation and a strong ability to learn quickly.
  • Inquisitive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to evolving responsibilities as new technologies, skillsets, and areas of operation are introduced.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or Unix.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.
  • Familiarity with data platforms and data warehousing technologies such as Hadoop or Snowflake.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
