Join Walmart as a Finance Manager, eCommerce, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our rapidly growing online business. In this role, you will provide strategic input to the financial planning process through advanced financial analysis and modeling tailored to eCommerce operations. This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing eCommerce profitability, and supporting key business decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

About the Team
Our eCommerce Financial Planning team is dedicated to enhancing Walmart's digital financial performance and reporting transparency. We collaborate with various functional areas to understand significant variations and provide insightful analysis. By managing complex control structures and producing robust financial models specific to eCommerce, we drive strategic decisions that align with the company's omnichannel goals and objectives.

What you'll do...

  • Provide input for business decisions by building financial models that translate non-financial metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, etc.) into financial outcomes, incorporating assumptions, tradeoffs, and risks.
  • Prepare presentations and supporting materials for recommendations, and participate in business case presentations to senior and executive management.
  • Partner with Finance (Merchandising, Marketing, Marketplace, Operations) and Analytics teams to identify opportunities for process optimization or automation.
  • Share insights on historical trends and expected future events, including financial planning, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Leverage big data to uncover actionable insights and drive solutions to complex business challenges in the eCommerce space.
  • Create engaging data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to senior-level leadership

What You'll Bring

  • Strong experience in financial analysis and modeling, preferably in an eCommerce or digital business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for understanding and explaining financial variations in online business performance.
  • Ability to manage complex control structures and mitigate financial risks in a digital context.
  • Experience collaborating with senior management to plan and analyze eCommerce business performance.
  • Leadership abilities to supervise and develop associates, ensuring belonging awareness and digital acumen.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
