What you'll do at
Position Summary...
In this role, you will advance Walmart’s offsite renewable energy objectives by managing a portfolio of contracted and operational energy assets. You will also collaborate with the origination team to ensure new contracts are strategically structured for long-term operational success.This position will report to our Director, Energy Portfolio Management and is based in Bentonville, Arkansas. A full relocation package can be made available, but we are not considering remote applicants at this time.

What you'll do...
- Project Performance Management and Reporting: Conduct financial and operational analyses of Walmart’s multi-gigawatt renewable energy portfolio; this includes evaluating project data, optimizing contract terms, and resolving performance issues to support Walmart’s multi-billion-dollar capital deployment and sustainability goals
- Forecasting and Strategic Planning: Develop analytical forecasts for renewable energy generation and investment performance to inform budget management and procurement strategies
- Power Purchase Agreements and Capital Investments: Support the negotiation and execution of power purchase agreements and capital investments that align with Walmart’s sustainability objectives and ensure contracts and project structures minimize operational risk, drive decarbonization, and support overall business goals
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across origination, legal, finance, and other business units to achieve renewable energy targets and drive continuous improvement.
- Business Plan Execution: Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects

What you’ll bring…
- 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience operating in a large, global organization
- Understanding of both competitive and regulated energy markets
- Understanding of the renewable energy project development process and key drivers of project value
